Read this policy in order
The page follows the same sequence a visitor usually needs: what cookies are, what we set, how to remove them, and who to ask if something is unclear. Skim the first three rows if you only want the essentials.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information between pages or between visits, such as your preferences or whether you have already seen a particular notice. Similar technologies, including local storage, work in comparable ways, and this policy covers them too.
Cookies are not programs and they do not run on your device. Each one is a short label with a value, tied to the domain that set it and to an expiry time. A session cookie disappears when you close the browser; a persistent cookie stays until its expiry date or until you delete it.
Because endeveree.com publishes guidance on payroll and salary planning for U.S. employers and finance teams, we keep our use of cookies narrow. We set what the site needs to load reliably, remember a few preferences, and understand in aggregate which pages people read most. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of individual visitors.
Cookies we use
We group cookies by what they do rather than by vendor. Three groups cover everything set through our site.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off through our settings. They carry basic security and load-balancing functions, and they keep a form submission from being sent twice. They do not store information used for advertising.
Typical lifetime: the browsing session, or a short fixed period where security requires it.
Functional cookies
Functional cookies remember choices you make, such as display preferences or the answer you gave to a consent notice so that we do not ask again on every page. If you disable them, some parts of the site may behave differently: preferences reset on each visit and repeated prompts can return.
Typical lifetime: a few weeks to a year, depending on the preference being stored.
Analytics cookies
Analytics cookies collect aggregated information about page visits, time on page, and referral source. This data is used to improve content, such as deciding which payroll software comparison pages need clearer explanations. It is not used to identify you personally.
Typical lifetime: a session for visit counts, up to two years for returning-visitor measurement.
Where consent is required by law, we ask for it before setting non-essential cookies. The consent notice you may see on your first visit is the mechanism that records your answer.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block cookies entirely or to be notified when a cookie is set. Blocking all cookies may affect site functionality.
Clearing cookies is a local action: it affects your device only, and it does not change anything about the content you can read on this site. If you clear cookies and then return, expect to see the consent notice again.
-
Open settings
Look for the privacy or site-data section of your browser's settings menu. Every mainstream browser keeps cookie controls there, separate from search and history.
-
Review the list
Most browsers list stored cookies by domain. Filtering for endeveree.com shows exactly what this site has placed, so you can remove one group without disturbing others.
-
Choose a level
Blocking third-party cookies while allowing first-party ones keeps the site working normally in most cases. Blocking everything is available, but preferences and consent answers will not persist.
-
Private browsing
Private or incognito windows discard cookies when you close them, which is a quick way to read a page without leaving anything behind. It does not stop every type of measurement, and it does not hide your visit from a network administrator.
-
Check the result
After changing a setting, reload the site and open your browser's stored-cookie view again. If a cookie you blocked reappears, it is usually a strictly necessary one that the site sets on every load.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies may be set by third-party services that support site functions, such as analytics. These providers process data under their own privacy policies, and their retention rules are set by them rather than by us.
We do not control cookies set by third parties outside our site. If you follow a link away from endeveree.com, the destination site applies its own cookie practices, and its own notice explains them.
When we evaluate a provider, we look at what the service measures, whether the output is aggregated, and how long the data is kept. A tool that cannot describe its retention period is not one we would add to a payroll or budgeting resource.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our use of cookies changes or when applicable law requires it. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the current version.
If a change adds a new category of cookie, we will say so in plain terms rather than only adjusting the date. Where consent is required, a new question is asked before the added cookies are set.
Questions we are asked about cookies
Do cookies on this site affect what I can read?
No. Every page, including the payroll software comparison and salary planning guides, stays readable if you block cookies. You may simply be asked for a preference again on your next visit.
Are cookies used to decide which budgeting or payroll content I see?
No. Analytics cookies tell us which pages are visited and how people move between them, in aggregate. Content decisions, such as which comparison tables to expand, come from that combined picture rather than from your individual reading history.
How long does a consent answer last?
The answer is stored as a functional cookie so the notice does not reappear on every page. Deleting your cookies removes that record, and the question is asked again on your next visit.
Does this policy cover links to other sites?
It covers endeveree.com only. Pages we link to run on their own domains and set their own cookies, so check their notices if you want the full picture of what is stored on your device.
